ateyomike
to be fair i think the noise that was made was bya group of fans coming into the stand and didnt realise it was the time of silence they soon shut up though once they realised

Peter O Hanraha-hanrahan
Well said - Let's hope that this is taught in schools so it is never forgotten Agree My 5 year old daughter came home from school the other day and told me they had a 2 min silence, she also told me why. I think most schools still make a point educating children about the importance of 11th Nov and hopefully they always will. Well said OP
Tonto
My dad took me to ww1 memorials and battlegrounds when I was 13. Most humbling and emotional scenes, every school kid should be made to visit these sites, not go on skiing trips etc! We will not forget
