GOBBERS, WHERE ARE YOU ??!! While some of us don't agree with your left wing, anti royalist stance, your posts have always been direct and humourous over the years, with a unique angle on football and non football related topics. It would be a good innovation if there was a section on the forum naming banned users, giving the reason behind the exclusion and how long the ban is in place. I'm still under the impression that Ashtonyate was banned for the unforgivable 'crime' of being too negative, even though his posts often contained a lot more debate provoking comment than some of the abusive spittle that appears on the boards these days. It is still non-stop and repeatative Posters shouldn't be damned/exiled for being more positive/negative than the average. A forum such as this needs a mix of views to keep it interesting and the trick is tolerating them while debating them. AY's certainly stubborn but there are some reasonable points as well amongst his Academy threads etc. and he gets people talking. Every forum needs these prolific and lively thread starters who tempt others into debate - and you can always just ignore them if you want to. He shouldnt of been banned atall for being 'negative', if anything he got banned for sticking up for himself. like i said on another thread there are certain people on here who try to own the place and will stop at no cost to get you the boot, even if that invloves provoking to get an angry responce. Wasn't he at the Battle of the Little Big Horn? I do hovver 'inconspicuously' at the bottom of the page occasionally but you can't have many lurkers on Ziderheads if I'm the top lurker. Do you have Ziderhead awards, including one for chief non-participating lurkers? Seriously though I hardly swear at all in everyday life what with 2 grown up 'children' to set an example to so the banter on Ziderheads is all a bit alien to me. It's a good alternative though for those who like to cuss alot and there are a number of very readable posters who I'd be more than happy to see back here. I sometimes wonder who actually is running this site, it's obviously not me and the rest of the mod team.. cause I'm dammed if I know half of the alleged rumours on here. It won't do any good either, people will then start questioning the actions of the moderator team and we'll end up with a rudderless ship because nobody will want to be involved in the running of it. Also people do just come and go on forums, on one forum we run an admin hasn't been seen for 4 years. No word, nothing.. he just never logged in again. That happens on here too... a lot more than banings which are very rare unless its a troll or spammer. I have never been on a forum, or know one, that has such a 'banned list' - I've seen the odd one that details warnings but that's about it.
