Motorwayman
Milly is up for Manager of the Month; result next Thursday, other candidates are Grayson, Lambert, forgot the last Does it mean anything? Or is it a curse? Feather in the cap for a Manager, so i hope he gets it.

And Its Smith
Means nothing apart from that we've had a good run recently. Certainly not a curse - anyone who says it is probably also believes in horoscopes, tarot cards and crystal balls.

Certainly not a curse - anyone who says it is probably also believes in horoscopes, tarot cards and crystal balls. ... although statistically anyone that wins it is more likely to lose purely down to the fact that they've had a good run. Unless a team is *so* good that they can keep the run up forever, normally an unusually good run is naturally followed by some overdue losses. It's the exact opposite of the new manager syndrome, where it's been proven that winning again is usually down to an overdue win rather than the manager himself. Bad luck only lasts for so long and all that. Unless you're Rovers, where consistently losing just simply means you're rubbish and winning is a fluke. allyolly
Unless - shock horror - it could be a sign that an impartial panel of judges think we have a manager that deserves credit where credit is undoubtedly due? Whether KM wins it or not it would be nice to think that the negative posters of a couple of months ago( of which there were many) can recognise the progress that is being made. I think we have the right man, the team will only get better and if we get behind the team we have everything to play for this season.
Nogbad the Bad
Whether KM wins it or not it would be nice to think that the negative posters of a couple of months ago( of which there were many) can recognise the progress that is being made. It certainly isn't 'negative' for supporters to voice their concerns and doubts about the manager when their club is deservedly rock bottom of the division, playing terribly, and losing badly every week. In September and the first half of October City were abysmal and looking certainties for relegation. Under those circumstances, it would have been extraordinary if fans hadn't questioned the capabilities of the manager. Nobody at that time could have foreseen the upturn starting with the Reading game after KM's initial run of just one win in his first 10 games including 6 defeats. I don't think even KM's strongest doubters would deny him credit for the turnaround but those doubts were very well founded and completely understandable at the time they were expressed. Now we've had this good run to negate somewhat the effects of the dreadful one that preceded it the next 10 games or so will give us a very good idea of the manager's true worth.
