Nogbad the Bad
RB reporting that Fontaine is likely to be out for at least a further month. Louis Carey should be available in a week's time.
Robbored
RB reporting that Fontaine is likely to be out for at least a further month. Millen said the same thing on World but that the specialist Fontaine saw reccomended 'a months rest' to see if the ankle improves. Problem is that if after a month there is no improvement then Fontaine is still at square one. The club are considering a second opinion.
glynriley
If Damon Stewart carries on like he played on saturday we wont miss fonts too much. still a blow though
redsince1994
CB is probably the position we need to worry about least (well except from winger maybe) so it could be worse. Hope he has a speedy recovery though.
FanaticRed
It will be interesting to see where Carey fits in when fit...
dragonreds
It will be interesting to see where Carey fits in when fit... well if the back four continue to play like they did against derby, hopefully on the bench. i think carey will have a part to play though over christmas due to fixture congestion. Dan Of The Dolman
Fonts could be spending a quite a time on the sidelines, as it seems surgery may even be required if it isn't right after a while.
FanaticRed
If Damon Stewart carries on like he played on saturday we wont miss fonts too much. still a blow though I can see Carey taking Stewarts place in the side when fit! shame really as he had a excellent game against Derby it would be unfair to just drop him again. although i understand that we will probably have to rotate from time to time because of the Xmas period. FanaticRed
Why? Because he has captain status and will probably be slotted back in by Millen! its just the way i see it, i take it you dont agree?

If Stewart had performed as he was at the start of the season I would agree with you, but he played well (and also looked about a stone lighter to me) so I think Millen is the sort to leave him in. beaverface
I don't like to be like this, but does anybody else have little faith in our medical staff? Each time they give an estimate as to how long a player is to be out, it's usually longer. Ok, I have a little sympathy in this case as Fontaine needs to rest it before they'll know the full outcome, but generally I think the estimates are way out.
