Every other form of entertainment allows this. When I used to watch City - from 64 through to the late 80s - pre booking wasn't necessary. If I wake up on the 1st without a hangover would love to come to the Gate ... why have empty seats and zero revenue when there are old guys like me with fat wallets? Ridiculous ...
