Barneyredballs
1. DJ 2. Hunt 4. Fontaine 5. Stewart 6 Carey 7 Marv 8 LJ 9 Clarkson 11 Haynes 12 Gerken 14 Skuse 16 Akinde 17 Sproule 20 JCR 21 Cisse 22 Nyatanga 23 Joe Edwards 24 Marlon Jackson 25 Danny Ball 26 Lennox 27 Albert 30 Stead 34 Pittman 36 Caulker 24 fit players. 18 involved yesterday. Leaves 6. 3 have no 1st team experience. 1 has 1 appearance. 1 has been away for 3 months and not scored on loan as a striker. 1 should never play for the club again. Someone mentioned why you would have 3 central defenders on the bench. Well otherwise we would have had 6 or 5 on the bench. Clearly Cisse will be out of CD next game and either Carey/LF back in. It is a poor squad, but ok 12-13. Anyone fancy trying to 'bracket' players into playing level categories: Top end Champ and above Consistent championship player - would be bought by over 50% of other Champ clubs Lower end Champ player - if leaves would prob go to 4-5 other champ clubs I'll do mine later

Portland Bill
Carey is still Championship class, after reading he was fit to play yesterday I was more than surprised he wasn't. His leadership and experience is vital at the moment imo
Donald
Carey is still Championship class, after reading he was fit to play yesterday I was more than surprised he wasn't. His leadership and experience is vital at the moment imo He's not 100% yet, needs another week. Was only one the bench because little other options and aim was mainly to having him in dressing room and among the squad, would have only come on as emergency, hence fonts ace on for Stewart. Still good enough for championship, without doubt, his only issue is getting injury prone and taking longer to recover.
