Coppell? Talk about no relevence whatsoever! I am merely pointing out that changing your manager at this late stage does sometimes work and Ipswich are the example. This isnt stirring up trouble but if you can never win a game or even draw at home then you must go.

And does sometimes not,

Mickey Adams @ Sheff Utd played 9, Won zero, Drawn 4, Lost 5

Just for some balance to the discussion.

New experienced manager in, they dont look like they are struggling do they?

Wrong time to change the manager now, the die is cast and we must stand or fall with Millen.

It's obviously not true, as suggested elsewhere, that all managers need a certain amount of time ( 2 seasons?dunno.gifspeechless-smiley-040.gif) to make their mark and improve a clubs' fortunes and that all should be forgiven in between - the better the manager, the less time he will need, simple as that.

Paul Jewell is certainly doing well at Ipswich and many would say he would have been a better bet for success at City than KM.

He definitely wasn't in a job when GJ left, or SC walked, so very likely to have been an applicant.

He may not be quite such a nice chap as KM though, and may have been a less popular choice with the players.noexpression.gif
