myol'man
Listening to the TMS commentary on England vs Netherlands in the Cricket World Cup (England getting battered by the way, no change there!) Geoff Boycott was chatting to Simon Mann about football shirt sales, and mentioned that Simon is a big Bristol City fan. So add him to our list of "celebrity fans" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Mann_(cricket_commentator)

Mr Popodopolous
I think him and one of the others mentioned an excellent GJ quote on Saturday's game...After a 6-0 loss he apparently said 'I'd rather lose one game 6-0 than 6 games 1-0!' Classic GJ!
The Batman
it's amazing how many of these "celebrity fans" have come out and announced their support for the club since we got promoted to the championship and then were one game away from the prem. I dont recall them mentioning it when we were at the bottom of league 1 when GJ took over.

ralphindevon
I can remember Marcus Trescothic saying on tour there always seems to be a big contingent of City fans amongst the media covering the tour. As many as any other team, surprisingly.

I remember a feature on him in a matchday programme at least 10 years ago, when he wasn't as much of a regular on TMS as he is now.
