DaveF
Was just thinking what people think of Maynard's chances of being in the England squad for the friendly against Ghana on the 29th? As Bothroyd got a run out last time round I'd imagine Nicky has a fair chance of being included?

BCFC Jordan
If Bothroyd gets the chance so should Maynard...
The Batman
on a personal note, hopefully not. It gives him more media attention and more clubs will be interested in him on a city side of things, hopefully so. Cant see why not considering boothroyd was called up. Not forgetting though he has just come back from major injury.I can't see it personally.
Lrrr
doubt it, not so soon after he has returned, will need to prove consitency before even being considered
DaveF
If he chips in with 3 or more goals in his next 3 appearances then he's bound to have a slight chance. Appearing for England would surely boost his value as well?
Jordan Tansley
Unfortunately playing for BCFC rather than CCFC isn't going to help...

And Its Smith
Hahahahahaha! No chance. More chance of David James getting back in and Clarkson getting in the Scotland squad.

TBW
Nah, he's going to give Gary Hooper a chance instead because Scotland is such a demanding league to score goals in (cough Lee Miller cough)

I think Maynard is well known as it is so playing for England would be a proud moment for the player and us all involved with BCFC. If Boothroyd (an average Championship striker and nearly 30 years of age) gets a chance, Nicky Maynard (who can become at least 3 times the player Boothroyd will ever be) should get a chance. WellRedPhil
Obviously not. Don't forget that the only reason Bothroyd was called up was due to a significant amount of injuries to our forwards.
