!james Posted March 31, 2011 Report Share Posted March 31, 2011 just noticed on Twitter that Henry Muggeridge, Bobby Reid, Aaron Amadi-Holloway & Lewis Carey have all been given pro contracts... Scott Wilson hasnt been given one, not sure about any others as there are players like Bobby Medjedoub who have been doing well just made me think as Lewis Carey is a keeper and we already know James and Gerken have signed on for next season does this mean Henderson wont sign on again as i cant imagine us having 4 pro keepers on the books... also anyone know much more about the other three position wise? Holloway is a tall centre back but has also been used up front a fair bit recently and has won Wales representative honours. Reid is a central midfielder who has been kept a year below his age group as he isn't the biggest. Don't know Muggeridge, but the academy line ups seem to suggest he's a central defender. Glad to see them all getting there first professional contracts, and lets hope they will play a big part in our future. I think with Carey signing on as well, it spells the end for Henderson. Could just be that they think Carey is talented and don't want to lose him? Speculating of course, but keeping a youth player isn't always linked to first team contracts...
