The Batman
Millen is one of the candidates for manager of the month. None of our players have had a mention though. Hopefully it wont ruin of good form if Millen wins and it's less attention on our players by not getting recognised. Well done for getting nominated though Mr M. Other managers were McKay at Watford, Mcdermott at Reading and Cotterill at Portsmouth. Players were Graham at Watford, Hume at Preston, Harte at Reading and someone else. Guest
Think McDermott might just edge him out. Either way its great that he's getting a bit of credit for our up turn in form.

It's depressing that the managers are all picked from teams that are doing well. Dario Gradi at Crewe has never won anything of distinction but he's arguably the best manager in the Football League. Phil Brown should have been considered for these reasons.

The manager of the month award is hardly likely to be given to somebody doing badly! Hume, of Preston, is in the running for player of the month. Hume, of Preston, is in the running for player of the month. You're defining "badly" as a manager whose team haven't got many points. I recently read an article about a lowly team manager (can't remember who) who was cleaning the strips, painting the white lines and sometimes paying the staff out of his own pocket. This is a good manager, I'd contend.
Alex_BCFC
Reading should win it but Keef has done well.

Dario gradi has just won the life time achievement award at the recent football league awards which trumps any monthly award based on form. Brown on the other hand is just a nause. If he gets preston out of the drop zone this month then im sure he will get it.
