Redland
Does anyone know if the government has now rubber stamped the decision by Bristol City Council to grant planning consent for the Sainsbury's redevelopment. At the time we were told that the Council's decision was subject to approval from the Secretary of State, but this was almost two months ago. If consent has not yet been given surely there must be a time frame within which the Secretary of State can object? Also, it seems to have gone very quiet so far as the village green application and the negotiations with the residents are concerned. Apologies if this has been previously posted but I have been on holiday and having returned I thought there might have been some news.
Guest
It doesn't need to be rubber stamped per say but the SOS could pull it in for review. I believe he only has so long to do this and that time may have already passed
