Bit more light-hearted to end the season, and a look back on the last 12 months, see how opinions vary. Will do this in a bit.

Favourite Game:

City 1-1 QPR, October 23rd

I came home for the weekend cause of some bad stuff going on at uni, and it was one of those matches that could make anyone forget anything else going on. Absolutely cracking game where we matched the best team in the league for 90 minutes in front of the Sky cameras. Incredible goal from Stead and bar Haynes' questionable finishing we could have been out of sight long before they equalised. We had to be at our best that day and we really were, for the neutral it must have been superb as well, so end-to-end and great attacking football from both sides.

Least Favourite Game:

City 0-3 Sheffield Wednesday, January 8th

Terrible showing, even when we were the better team in the first half we were still off the pace and looked quite lazy. The defending for each of the goals was shocking and we fully deserved everything we got that day. Considering Wednesday's draw in Round 4 it rubbed salt in the wound even further, a thoroughly memorable performance for all the wrong reasons.

Best Team Performance:

City 3-0 Cardiff, January 1st

It doesn't get much better than a win over your local rivals, especially a big one, especially considering the score in the same fixture last season. We dominated from start to finish, and bar a couple of shots before half time they offered absolutely nothing besides. It could easily have been the 6-0 they dished on us last season, and no victory comes sweeter at the moment than against the sheep shaggers.

Worst Team Performance:

City 0-3 Sheffield Weds, January 8th

As already said, terrible all round, lazy and off the pace.

Player of the Season:

Steven Caulker

Absolute man mountain at the back, lad will go on to play for England with no doubt IMO. We'll be incredibly lucky to get him back next season and if we do that's a good few points on the board over if we don't have him. Composed on the ball, great in the air and on the floor, good positioning and chipped in with a couple of goals... best defender I've ever seen at AG.

Worst Player of the season:

Nicky Hunt

Leeds away - Nicky Hunt 3-1 Bristol City. Nuff said.

Best Opposition Team:

QPR

As I said, we had to be at our best to match them, and had Taraabt been on form at the Gate I think they would have most likely beaten us comfortably. As a unit they were very good and had a pacey front line to complement their decent defence, fitting of their position in the league.

Best Opposition Player:

Shaun Derry

Really don't like him as a character but he's a cracking player, did very well against us both times this season, got a decent eye for a pass and good on the ball while being the anchor of their midfield, all the while looking the wrong side of 50.

Most Memorable Moment:

The 'Penalty' against Elliott

For the wrong reasons maybe, but personally I've never felt so angry at a football game as when that was given, an absolutely ridiculous decision which never should have stood. We were 1 up and cruising and fell apart after the goal, that decision lost us the game IMO.

Goal of the Season:

Jon Stead vs. QPR, October 23rd

What a goal, absolute pearler in a great match. Up there with the Noble winner vs. Palace, beautiful finish.

Lessons to be learned:

Don't let ourselves get into the injury crisis we found ourselves in a number of times this season. Don't let bad decisions get to us. Don't rest on our laurels. Youth loans can be incredibly beneficial.

Most wanted realistic signing:

With the form of Karacan Brian Howard is no more than a bit-part player at Reading at the moment, would have him in to offer some creativity in the midfield without a doubt.

Favourite Game:

City 1 Reading 0. A true must-win game at the time. Everyone was feeling down and pessimistic about our future. Great solidarity between players and fans alike. Great atmosphere. Very good performance. Carey shedding a tear to show how much it meant to the players.

Least Favourite Game:

Opening defeat against Millwall. Realisation that we were nowhere near good enough to challenge for play-offs and first indication that we could be up against a relegation battle.

Best Team Performance:

Again, agree with you on this, has to be C***diff home win. Sweet revenge and realisation that we can on our day compete with the better teams in the division. Both QPR games come close.

Worst Team Performance:

Sheff Weds. Spineless.

Player of the Season:

Steven Caulker - absolute ******* quality.

Albert not far behind though.

Worst Player of the season:

Nicky Hunt obviously.

Best Opposition Team:

Swansea at home. Great at keeping possession, looked a class apart.

Best Opposition Player:

Robert Snodgrass. Can't think of too many others off the top of my head.

Most Memorable Moment:

David James signing (if I'm allowed a pre-season moment). If not, Copout walking.

Goal of the Season:

Steady v QPR as well. Quality goal in a big game.

Lessons to be learned:

Buy players from the lower leagues or up and coming youngsters from the Prem on loan. Never ever sign Nicky Hunt. Need to improve home form and improve consistency.

Most wanted realistic signing:

Akos Buzsaky. Need creativity in midfield more than anything else.

Favourite Game:

There hasn't been that many but Reading home was a good one. If only for the atmosphere.

Least Favourite Game:

Middlesborough or Sheff Wed home. Shambles.

Best Team Performance:

Swansea away. Tactics and team came together to snuff out the best footballing side this season.

Worst Team Performance:

Reading away after the first 25 minutes. Shambles.

Player of the season:

Caulker.

Worst player of the season:

Like everyone else it has to be Hunt. Though I think there is some talent there as per his stint at Bolton.

Best opposition team:

Swansea at AG.

Best opposition player:

Adel Tarabt. Not against us especially but the best in our league

Most memorable moment:

The moment Coppell left. It bascially defined the season.

Goal of the Season:

Stead at home to QPR

Lessons to be learned for next season:

Buy more Admoah's than waste money on Prem players coming down.

Most wanted realistic signing:

Anthony Pilkington
