Kid in the Riot Posted May 13, 2011 Report Share Posted May 13, 2011 With the demise of the monobrow, leather jacket wearing, web footed lot from Whorefield what a great idea to introduce a striking new away shirt with the words 'Bristol City Community Trust' on the front. Let's be honest, from next season there truly is going to be only one team in Bristol. Now all the kids of Bristol are going to be playing football, walking round town in this easily recognisable shirt with the words Bristol City on the front. It should go viral. Also a very clear message is being sent to Bristol City Council with regard to the new stadium and again it's getting our name out there in hopefully a positive light. I think it's a great bit of PR (assuming this is GP's work) and perfectly timed. In fact with the demise of Plymuff and Swindle, this now gives us regional appeal as the only respectable football team in the south west of England. Well done GP.
