Big Red Rich Posted May 16, 2011 Report Share Posted May 16, 2011 You may have heard of the Lashings World XI, they are a team of ex-international cricketers (http://www.lashings.co.uk/) Well, they are playing my local team Rockhampton CC on Friday 27th May. (Rockhampton are based 5 minutes from Junc 14 M5). You can find out further information at www.rockhamptoncc.com or feel free to ask any questions here. If you have watched a game involving the Lashings then I'd be keen to hear your thoughts and experiences. Tickets are only £5 so great value. We still have some corp hospitality available at just £50 for a 3 course lunch with wine and the players will be guest speaking. Some of the players confirmed include Phil DeFreitas, Jimmy Adams, James Marshal, Mohammed Akram, Graham Hick, Ed Giddins and their is a good chance Henry Blowfelt will be there also commentating.
