bangers Posted June 2, 2011 Report Share Posted June 2, 2011 KM has said that we are trying to trim the squad.....is anyone else a bit worried by the potential size of our squad next season? Clearly we are going to bring in at least 2/3 players.....and there seems to be very little interest in any of our players. Seems to be next season we could have a HUGE squad, there must be at least 10 players KM would be willing to let go if the offer was right????? WE have 27 pro's currently on the books 5 of which are 1st year pro's on very small wages compared to the rest so realisticly we have 22 pro's some of which will leave makeing way for new blood, Perosnally I think the squad size is about right Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That seems loads until you take into account that nine of those 31 have a single league start for us between all of them. 3 of the remaining 22 are keepers, leaving 19 (including Nicky Hunt) for the 16 outfield slots each week, so 18, then.
