chucky
Geoff twentyman Twittered that gary owers has joined the development team. Here's his tweet, "Gary Owers has joined #BristolCity as a development coach, to work with u21s. Great appointment. Knows the game, gd coach and right type." chinapig
I was impressed when I read this about him: http://www.givemefootball.com/pfa/pfa-news/careers-after-football-gary-owers A man who has taken his professional and personal development very seriously. GrahamC
Really good appointment. Gary Owers had a good career by making the very most of his talent (like Rob Newman), I also liked the comments he made at the play off final when he said he went to the game as a City fan and was bringing us his kids up as Reds. If our development youngsters can't learn from a good pro like him, they won't learn.
mcbcfc
Many a time have I seen him down the gate with his kids over the past few years watching us. Still speaks fondly of his time with the City. Good appointment in my eyes

BCFC_Dan
He wasn't a very good manager but that doesn't mean he can't be a good coach. Best of luck to him.
