Bazooka Joe
Have just seen the cross section diagram of the proposed SAGUWE stadium on page two of the Eastville Post. The pitch will be below ground level - ha ha! basement club has come up with ingenious scheme to put it's pitch in the basement. I bet it will flood beautifully when it rains. What inspiration! From a ploughed field at the Mem to a paddy field at UWE. Reason they give for pitch being below ground level is to stop the stadium standing out too much - there's no chance of that no matter what they do. Real reason for below ground level is so that Rovers can Whoooosh it to their heart's content without anyone outside noticing. On match days, when their beloved team runs out (down) onto the pitch will the hard core 4,000 diehards greet them with "Going Down Going Down Going Down" You just couldn't make it up, could you?
