FanaticRed
Ipswich will be a force next year, Wickham and Chopra? would be hard to find a better strike force than that in this division.
Jon atyeo is my dad
Maynard pitman stead ! Yes I would rather those 3 instead of chopra and wickham!

Be suprised if Wickham is still there by the time transfer window shuts, couple of big clubs on his trail.
Abraham Romanovich
Sad day for the betting shops and pubs of Cardiff. I think he was trying to kickstart the Welsh economy by himself
FanaticRed
Maynard pitman stead ! Yes I would rather those 3 instead of chopra and wickham! True! its still a good strike force for this level though. (if they can keep Whickam)

Alex_BCFC
If Wickham stays I think that will be a pretty decent attack. Chopra is a 1 in 3 man and Wickham is getting better with 9 goals last season. Not bad considering he is 18.
bangers
Dont think Chopra is anywhere near the same player he was 2/3 years ago. Seems to have lost that extra yard of pace, Maybe the move will do him some good. For £1Mil probably worth the risk when youve got ipswichs money. chinapig
Be suprised if Wickham is still there by the time transfer window shuts, couple of big clubs on his trail. Apparently Liverpool and trying to agree a fee with Ipswich, who want £10m. Won't be long I suspect.

Jesus
Fantastic player who's a bargin @ £1m. Ipswich are fully in the race with that signing.
chinapig
Fantastic player who's a bargin @ £1m. Ipswich are fully in the race with that signing. Past his best imo, ended up on the bench at Cardiff and with alleged personal issues as others have said. Personally I wouldn't swap him for Pitman. steviestevieneville
Id rather go down the buying in youth rout than the quick fix Ipswich are after. We've been there with journey men on inflated wages and all we got out of it was a £20million debt.
howey_ducky
decent player when he wants to be, not sure his heads in the right place these days. as mentioned before, he was a much more dangerous player 2 or 3 years ago. there's a chance that this move could kick-start his career tho so if it's only 1 mill it may be a worthwhile gamble. He had a decent turn of pace, that's what did for a lot of teams......once that's gone, it's almost impossible to get back.
steviestevieneville
Best thing about it is Baaaadiff have hardly any attacking players left and no manager. Chopra, bellend, burke,Bothroyd. All gone. Fantastic.

Tim S
Chris Hughton seems to be the bookies fav. I think he would be a good manager for them long term, but would probably take him a season to get settled in and get things going his way so unless Cardiff do something dramatic in the transfer market then mid table for them next season! Will he take a massive pay cut to stay?

Will he take a massive pay cut to stay? Absolutely. If he is then I think that's great. A sign of commitment to a club. Something so rare nowadays. I'm sceptical, though.
