How the **** does that work, ahead of Brazil, Italy, Portugal and Argentina and France who pissed all over us last year are'nt even in the top 10. Unfortunately these rankings will only serve to give that useless **** Cappello more belief that he is getting it right, the funny thing as things stand we are in grave danger of not even reaching the Euro finals but many teams well below us will. Agree. The rankings are mental though. Norway are 11th! I think Capello is doing reasonably well with the players we have, although I think he should be including more youngsters. Unfortunately, if we are to improve our fortunes in the next couple of competitive championships, we need to completely restructure our game from top to bottom. We're not great, the rankings seem interesting to say the least.... As for Capello, undoubtedly he has made errors- 4-4-2, grumpy, perhaps could have managed things better. However, look at his club record, what he has won, players he has worked with and seriously claim he is a useless manager? AC Milan, Real Madrid, Roma, Juventus are far from small, pressure free jobs.He has won a trophy at every club he has been at pre England- the players we have are not world beaters on the whole, though two, maybe 3 are bona fide world class.His failure to learn English properly is perhaps his biggest failing of all though. The clue is in your reply "AC Milan, Real Madrid, Roma, Juventus" and he tries to get England to play in the continental style, most English players only have enough brain power to learn to play the game one way without having to learn a different style.
