brad blit
Just reading the article below stating now that clubs can only only name 5 substitutes in a League Game and thinking how will this affect us http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_7052348,00.html Do you think this will mean players who can play in more than one position will be picked, or should he stick to his 16 best players available if possible? Be interesting to see how many clubs dont field a Goalie too and gamble that nothing happens. Shame we cant put Caulker in goal now either after his brief appearance last year (I think thats right if I remember correctly) So my question being is what players do you think would be on your bench if you could have your team on the pitch (no injuires etc)?? Nibor
It'll make no difference, it made none when it went up to 7. One keeper and four outfield players is more than enough.
gran
not really sure what they were thinking... will make it a lot less likely for youngsters to get gametime. Players who are more versatile in a number of positions will be picked above those who could offer a tactical advantage. Probably lots of outfield players in goal too, while the reserve keeper watches from the stands. typo in topic btw
Melksham Red
No difference you could have 10 Subs but the fact remains you can only use three. Just means you'll get less younsters being named in the match day squad, they wouldnt of played anyway.
