Twentyman Talks Back Show Starts This Week

Recommended Posts

Normally it starts on the friday before the start of the new season,

although it doesn't actually show up on the programme schedules from the radio times or BBC Bristol's own web site

Maybe between Richard Hoskin Pete Simson Swindon Town follower Ed Hadwin and Ben Prater they can adjust the programme schedules to show

the TTB programme starts this friday(august 5th)

Oh ntds , TTB always for some unknown reason always starts on the Friday following the opening Saturday.

Every other local BBC Radio station would have a preview show on the Friday night before the opening day but yet again it just goes to show how poorly served we are by Radio Bristol.

If you dont belive me have a listen to other stations on line far far superior to the dross we are given. Much more expert views from ex footballers who are not frighten to give a honest opinion.

Besides the banality of the Friday Twentyman Talks and the Saturday Show there are two things that really grate.

Firstly, why does Twentyman have to repeat his name and spell it out as T-w-e-n-t-y-m-a-n at 10 minute intervals during every show over a 10 month period in the belief that one pointless message might go astray. Does he need an ego boost that much.

Secondly why do the presenters majoring in travel have to include the nanny phrase and if it is safe to do so after every report. I don't hear that phrase on any of the proper BBC channels so why insult the intellegence of Bristol people.
