Not entirely sure about that, football riots don't tend to burn buildings- don't think there's much PC from the PC's at play here- nobody in authority at least has condoned the riots so I can't see why they'd let it happen etc. Also, is there not a difference in numbers? Away fans- especially with smaller contingents these days- are easier to cajole than areas going for a free for all, using conventional police methods that is. Probably why there is no kettling too.
