GrahamC
Richard Latham in today's Sunday Independent: Among criticism I read from fans was that Marvin Elliott and Cole Skuse are unsuited to operating together in central midfield. I can't see why that should be the case as both have good engines and Elliott is attack-minded while Skuse is more a breaker-up of opponents' attacks. To be fair the Skuse of the season before last did this, if he returned to that form and if Marvin chipped in with 8 goals again (the highest from centre mid since the great Gary Shelton) it would work. Unfortunately the early signs are that it will not, hence Kilkenny plus one for me.
mcbcfc
Ideally if we play 442 (not that I would play this) it has to be killkenny and cisse
