Mr Popodopolous
You sure? There's a lot of anti American sentiment in the world I'd suggest- certainly in Europe and the Middle East anyway. Flags being burnt is nothing new- saw one that looked a bit charred when on holiday in Italy a couple of years ago. Nonetheless this was offensive and no mistake. Still they're far from a nation of great popularity in many place- anti American abuse is certainly wrong but their foreign policy doesn't help in this regard unfortunately. Barrs Court Red
No different to the koran burning pastor. No one takes MAC seriously, just hot heads, losers and attention seekers. A far bigger threat comes from within the east African community.

Barrs Court Red
Wouldn't worry too much about the Turks, unless it opens the floodgates for "Turkish" Kurds.
CiderHider
Wouldn't worry too much about the Turks, unless it opens the floodgates for "Turkish" Kurds. I'm worried about their border with Syria, Turkey is our buffer to Europe. If they joined the EU it would be a massive disaster. Its also worth pointing out that Turkey is not exactly part of Europe. but yes, with EU membership comes passport to the UK, do you really want that, it would be piece of piss to forge a Turkish passport if you were from Syria, Iraq, Iran, and call me xenophobic, but I'm not excited by that prospect.
