kiwicolin
Just wondering what is going to happen to Alfred? He has been a big hit with the fans but it would be great to raise money for him to stay at Bristol City F C. Just imagine him being the focal point of our new stadium. We would be happy to put some money in. Any chance of this happening. PS Or could he be the creative midfield player we been looking for.

WhistleHappy
...from BEP article, (along will all his mates our Alfred will be auctioned very soon .... details below) : The gorillas, which have been a big hit on the streets of Bristol all summer, are in the capital ahead of an auction on September 29, when they will be sold off individually in support of gorilla conservation projects. Wendy Walton, head of commercial operations at Bristol Zoo, said: "The sight of 20 brightly coloured gorilla statues is really something to behold. Everyone involved has been bowled over by how popular the gorillas have been with the public. "Now it's time to use their popularity to raise some much-needed funds for good causes." The More London exhibition will run until September 22. The charity auction will take place at 7pm in the Victoria Rooms, Clifton, Bristol on September 29.
