Brissie Red Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 So if the club are to replace the manager, the way forward has to be to bring in a person that will introduce a style of football to the club that will be played at all levels. To bring about such a significant change will take time and patience and a long term view must be taken. The successful clubs have done this, Barcelona and Chelsea play the same formation at all levels, its the only way to ensure any player coming into the team can fit in. In that respect, players will need to be recruited based on their ability to play within a defined system. We will need a person who can establish an ethos at the club, maybe a man like Paulo Sousa?
The Casual Connoisseur Posted September 28, 2011 Posted September 28, 2011 Agree 100% but to do that we need a visionary board with a lot of money.
