I doubt if the people who pay hundreds of pounds a year in player sponsorship would be too chuffed, if the shirt they are entitled to as part of the sponosrship deal, was thrown into the crowd, to be honest. You may be ovberlooking the point that TFG will probably have manufactured a new set of 2003/04 shirts, with something like "Division 2 Play-Off Final 2003/04" woven in.
