Spike
I wouldn't argue if they brought in Keith Lemon so long as some discipline is installed. The biggest problem with Bristol City is we're still a small club in a big City which means any player who signs and likes a drink has plenty of places to go and may not value that the fans have a lot of ambition for the club. Whoever comes in needs to be no nonsense, have good connections and be tactically sound, the name doesn't bother me, it's just what the manager is going to do that bothers me. RedZepperin
The trigger-happy chairmen who populate the English leagues are... "Trigger-happy chairmen"!!?? We say we have ambitions to get promoted but we only sack our managers when they've turned us into relegation material.
Bored Dilemma
Tisdale probably would not come anyway - he seems to have a vision and will stick to it. His problem this year I think is having lost a regular goal scorer and failed to replace him - Vine on loan won't cut it. The way I see it McInnes represents a safe bet and that is the way this board behaves. Tisdale for instance could only take over if we were in league 1. Can you honestly see Tisdale being given a 5 yr plan with us in relegation trouble? No. Problem is this kind of planning is what works.
