havanatopia
in the end I plumped for red snapper curry with cantonise rice and Mrs Bung had prawn curry with noodles. Both sound remarkably unpalatable. If you didn't drown them with a pint of McInnes i bet you are rumbling this morning.

Sargent Pepper
1332: I'm still swaying from Jones to McInnes and back again as I debate who I want in the job and it's taking up 90% of my daily thoughts. The other 10% is thinking, the board will probably not bother to ask me anyway so maybe I should do some work instead?
Barrs Court Red
20:18 Still no official confirmation that Hope Powell is in no way shape or form in the running. Unlikely yes, but a disturbing thought. Meanwhile no one has yet mentioned Phil Brown, Dave Jones buying a house or Billy Davies kicking the shit out of "some wee English bastard" who happened to breath within earshot. havanatopia
21:37 or 16:37 Havana time.. David James has been seen walking out of the manager's office at ashton gate via the Inmarsat satellite and beemed down to a rusty saucepan lid i rigged up as a dish for TV and into my palatial little s--t box in Havana. A spy on the ground says he interviewed himself for the job but got stuck on the first question when he heard his own voice reverberating around the room. So that sounds official then, James considered for the job but came up short on whether he could get on with the goal keeper.
Working Late Again
Friday 7.15 Still no 'official' word. However I have it on good authority that DM has said yes - so long as he can bring Ian Baird back to the club as his number 2. DM is quoted as saying (for those of you with good memories) "Ian is a wonderful lad, he knows the city and its set up well. He won't be afraid to kick anybody up the ass or stick two finger up at them" I'll get me coat

Barrs Court Red
15.57 With negotiations at Ashton Gate reaching impasse, Paul Gascoigne is seen arriving at the stadium. Is he there for an interview, or is he delivering a Keebab and 4 beers?
