Guest lou-peters-dive Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Listening to Stockport v Forest Green on Player. Stockport commentator saying Joe Edwards is playing his last loan game for them before returning to City. They are saying he's very talented and he prob fancies his chances getting into our side playing in the Championship. Not seen him play personally. Big difference between Blue Square Prem and Championship but who knows he might be what we need.
Brizzle Jordan Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 I doubt it. Sadly dont think he'll make a good championship player.
Tins Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 I saw him on tuesday against Bath. Was played left back, god knows why, and didnt look very special. Only thing that stood out was his foul throw. Won't make it in the championship.

Redcliffe 78 Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Looked good when he played last game of last season against Hull saw him play for the reserves a few times looked steady unless he is given a run of games nobody will know, new manager new ideas chance Etc, Millen didn't fancy him but the new manager has said a clean slate for every player in the squad so when he returns he needs to impress in training good luck to him.
Donald Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 As said above. Very good player and certainly impressed in pre-season, following his M-O-M performance against hull Needs a league 1 or 2 loan move But definately one for the future

bcfcnick Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 I think he was given a run out in midfield in one of the pre-season games or a reserve game against strong opposition - the one where he ''did a Bas Savage' when just about to shoot and score. He got rave reviews from the city coaching staff for that performance and he might make a tenacious midfielder. Strong in the tackle and can get forward and go past players. He might just be a McInnes type player but I'm happy to trust the man in charge whoever he picks. We are in safe hands with him and the doc, I'm sure of that.
BCFC Jordan Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Remember BBC Bristol saying that both of the final candidates agreed with the boards philosophy of using academy products often. Reid and Edwards can certainly step up to it, if given a chance.
