Alex_BCFC Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Beat Southampton 2-0 and draw with West Ham away. Forget it.
bringbacktherobin Posted October 23, 2011 Author Posted October 23, 2011 Beat Southampton 2-0 and draw with West Ham away. Forget it. No! Southampton will beat us two nil!
Betelgeuse Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Sadly I can only see 3 or 4 points coming from that lot.
Danny P Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Let's face it were royally ******, were a yo yo club and it's time for us to go down and start again! I love this club (some might say too much sometimes) but even I can see that unless we get a real money man in we will never have real success. Yes I know we nearly got there but nearly isn't good enough, traditionally we are a league one club and yes we get the ups and downs but our expectations have been fired up by a rich owner and talk of a new ground! Thank you to sl for doing what he's done but if I or any other proper city fan had 700m plus in the bank we would be challenging for the title cos IMO it would only cost 30-40m in transfers and wages to do it! We won't sell 10,000 st's next season fact and ask yourselves why, all false promises leading us in again, were just pawns in their little game! This club is no longer about the fans and sadly nor is any other club

I think all that jumping around you did at the back has gone to your head. Or maybe it is the fact that you are part of Mr Plod's home movie collection
bringbacktherobin Posted November 1, 2011 Author Posted November 1, 2011 Got the last one right! On par for the 8 points.
bringbacktherobin Posted November 1, 2011 Author Posted November 1, 2011 Four points out of the 8 so far!!!!
tpitman Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Sorry to be a pessimist but if we get 5 points out of that lot i would be happy......1-1 at west ham love your optimism mate . Yes, very optimistic. To think that we would get a point
mart Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Beat Southampton 2-0 and draw with West Ham away. Forget it. WHU 0-0 city ... time foe a rethink mate..
Ryan_BCFC Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Right we are 6 points from safety now (7 if you include the GD).... Was 4 at start of playing... Beating Burnley is even more important now.

The Bard Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 When Del boy took over, I thought we needed to take 8 points from the next 5 games. We've got 4 from 3, meaning that we need to take 4 from a home game against Burnley and an away game at Millwall. If we manage that we'll be on 14 from 17 games, which though bad is not disastrous and is rescuable. There's a lot to be said for making sure you don't lose games and being solid
bringbacktherobin Posted November 2, 2011 Author Posted November 2, 2011 I feel i was too pessimistic when i put these predictions up, i think we will beat Burnley now. A scrappy 1-0 to us.
Guest Big Hev Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Beat Southampton 2-0 and draw with West Ham away. Forget it. weve managed part of it
Alex_BCFC Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 weve managed part of it Good. I couldn't see us getting anything from West Ham so you can only say well done to the manager thus far.
bringbacktherobin Posted November 20, 2011 Author Posted November 20, 2011 10 points for the first four games!!! Hopefully it will be 13 come 5pm next saturday, five over what i thought!
eric04 Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 Great to see that thread again. What a swing from negativity to positivity in just a month.
bringbacktherobin Posted November 20, 2011 Author Posted November 20, 2011 Great to see that thread again. What a swing from negativity to positivity in just a month. If we would lose, say the next two on the trot, would the negativity come back to the same extent?
Bristol_South_End Posted November 20, 2011 Posted November 20, 2011 If we would lose, say the next two on the trot, would the negativity come back to the same extent? Only if we started playing the way we did before Del took over, which doesn't seem too likely! *fingers crossed*
