Lack of Action Man
This is just a poll to see if any fans prefer, like me, to see a manager wearing a suit. Nothing wrong with coaches in tracksuits but the manager of the team should look the professional part imo. Not a massively City related thread, although was suprised to see McInnes in a tracksuit, but just wanted to start this discussion as had this talk with friends at the pub earlier this week. Red Robin
Rather see managers in track suites, looks more a part of the team, not a them and us situation. My staff know who the boss is,we work as a team. I would not expect my staff to do anything I would not do. Your work as a team, one for all,all for one. fRed
I would prefer a Robocop outfit.
Lack of Action Man
Ok, interesting points raised but - would you not say a manager needs to be a leader so in some respects needs to have a bit of individuality about his presence? WRERE
Would prefer a suit. Prior to kick-off I saw Woolford, Taylor + 2 others (think it was these) and they were all wearing suits, not sure if it's something McInnes has told them to do
Nogbad the Bad
Would prefer a suit. Prior to kick-off I saw Woolford, Taylor + 2 others (think it was these) and they were all wearing suits, not sure if it's something McInnes has told them to do Apparently it was. As for manager's, if they're going to sit down - like Ferguson - then suits, if they're going to be jumping around on the touchline then a tracksuit makes more sense. I'm sure McInnes turned up in a suit then got changed before k.o., much like the players.

Red-Robbo
Trackie. A suit makes them look like a sales rep. A blazer is even worse. BUT .... it doesn't really matter, does it?

grifty
It normally depends what type of manager it is. Usually a manager in a track suit will be jumping around like a lunatic while a suit wearing manager is more reserved and calm.
Pemburthy
A silk blouse and grass skirt for all I care, if he gets the team working and 3 points in the bag it's irrelevant. (Yes that's a handbag if he wants one).
