chipdawg
I'm pretty sure that Albert has been left out of the latest Black Stars squad. Obviously gutted for him if he's overlooked for the African Cup of Nations, but could be great news for us!!!
Lew - T
He absolutely vital for us! not just by his ability on the field but off it too, he is a real character to have around in the changing rooms.
Red-Robbo
He's certainly not been selected for their November friendlies. More fool them and more power to us!
Super
He's certainly not been selected for their November friendlies. More fool them and more power to us! Lets pray for some thumping Ghana wins! And no Injuries!

Albert's interviews on Player are worth the subscription alone. Is it too soon for "cult status"?
Ben4BCFC
Albert's interviews on Player are worth the subscription alone. Is it too soon for "cult status"? Certainly not too early. I think his interview should be as regular as McInnes. I love the feeling of logging on and seeing an Albert video waiting for me...

I love the feeling of logging on and seeing an Albert video waiting for me... Couldn't agree more. If we are ever unlucky enough to have him injured, get him to do the commentary as well! We really need him much more than Ghana do for the period of time during the African Nations.
pride of the west
Albert's interviews on Player are worth the subscription alone. Is it too soon for "cult status"? Definately not too early. Jackies a cult figure and alberts played more games than him and with more consistently.
Red_Mat
Albert's already a cult hero in my eyes - he became one midway through last season when he was more or less the only reason worth watching us play. Great player and a great bloke.
Melksham Red
Their loss is our gain. Only potential problem is AD thinking he needs to play for a bigger club to get noticed and he getting missed as he's playing for a basement side in the championship. Coxy27
To be fair to Albert there are some top quality players in that Ghana squad, he did brilliantly to make the last squad. He's an outstanding player for us, and I'm sure he'll have an international future for years to come, but right now, Goran if you're reading, we need him more than you! FanaticRed
It COULD work in our favour if Albert doesnt make the Ghana squad but what if his confidence if affected by missing out after playing so well for us? its bound to have a impact on his performances. InCider
Or it'll make him eager to play better? Going by his usual positive attitude, I'd say this is the more likely of the two.
Melksham Red
Or it'll make him eager to play better? He been playing really well and still missed out. Only option left is to move to a bigger stage to show off your skills .
FanaticRed
Or it'll make him eager to play better? Maybe, and hopefully that will be the case, but imo he cant really play much better than what he is at the moment, hes been fantastic! hes in the form of his life and would have to really be going some to play any better...
