always hoping
Not hearing anything on the form of our loan players at Cheltenham, Bath and Carlisle. Cheltenham are flying in Div 2 and Carlisle now on join points with the last place playoff position. Saw this recently posted on a Carlisle forum after the away win yesterday at S****horpe. Manager is posting similar comments over the past weeks. Lee Miller (once of City) is now really on form and leading the line for Carlisle. Suspect he will be picked up by a bigger club at the end of the season Bo_The_BlueUser is OfflinePosts: 3,418Joined: December 2007Hall of Fame3 year member1Posted 10 Dec 2011 18:20Enjoy yer Saturday folks!Apart from the first few minutes where we set off slow out of the traps, the lads were awesome today, (When did we become so good?) Unlucky not to be 3 or 4-1 up at half time. Silky one & two touch football. Can't really single out anybody for MOTM, they were all that good, but I must mention how well young Ribeiro played and has been playing since he came in. A good find from Abbott. Much better than Tavernier in my opinion. Rory Loy ran his b*ll*cks off, Miller lead the line well again on his own. Robson did his job well too! Even Thirlwell got in on the act! Dan Of The Dolman
Was chatting to a couple of Leeds based Carlisle fans on the train back last night. They were very impressed with how Ribiero has been playing up there,
