If we buy a replacement (and Pitman isn't it or he'd be in the team) that will cost us a transfer fee for sure plus likely similar wages to Maynard. On the other hand during the next close season we might pick up someone out of contract ourselves. At least Maynard's goals could help ensure we stay up meanwhile. Going down will cost us a hell of a lot more than $1.5m. And...if we go on a run (and I know I'm dreaming but don't we all) we are despite everything only 12 points off the playoff zone Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
