Ribs wasn't in the squad for Scunny yesterday so I checked their website. It looks like his bad luck with injury has followed him there ...

Talking after the 1-1 home draw with Stevenage, United boss Alan Knill explained more about the injuries which ruled out Christian Ribeiro and Jordan Robertson. He told The Iron Player: "We're hopeful Christian Ribeiro will be back (from a dead leg picked up in training on Monday) for Tuesday's game with Sheffield Wednesday. It was touch and go

Of course, the title should be "Loan Watch".rolleyes.gif

It is!:innocent06:

I would like to see Ribeiro continue to get games though, think he had a bit of a run before this latest injury didn't he?

All footballers get niggles. Trouble is with Ribeiro we always expect the worst, and people have suggested he does too.

Joe Edwards gave away a stupid penalty for Yeovile, the goal ultimately cost them all 3 points, shame for the lad.

It is a shame after his goal last week, but ultimately that's what he's gone out on loan for isn't it? To get game experience and to see if he can make it good at that level before hopefully progressing onto the next with his parent team. Same as we have McGivern, and had Caulker. Some make it and some don't, and only play playing can their managers tell. Harsh on many, but very rewarding for those who make it.

Indeed it is.

Ideally he will come on leaps and bounds, hopefully becoming Yeoviles player of their relegation season.
