Parker has come on leaps and bounds in the last 18 months, so much so he'd be my captain now, but Wilshire is still a huge part of that team. The interesting story of this transfer window is that two players who with a loan move and starting games would likely start the first match of the Euro's, Adam Johnson and Defoe, will be overlooked due to their club situations. Not many better midfield than Wilshere, Song and Ramsey when all fit... Also, seems a genuinely passionate lad and proud to play for his country... When watching him play for Arsenal, I've consistently seen him cut open teams. Including when he dominated Xavi etc in the Barcelona midfield last season. Never been a big fan of Bent but I guess he's the natural choice. I think, as said above, if Defoe had of/does move from Spurs it will be him.
