ollywhyte
Wasn't at the game, sounded like he had a steady and convincing game Just wondering how he looked for those who went? Answer to our midfield problems?
City Loyal
Looks comfortable and tough tackling...unfortunately the rest didnt fancy it. Your lucky you didnt have to witness that 2nd half performance!
Alex#40
Was MOM for me. Bossed the game and looked like all the best bits of our other midfielders rolled into one.

ollywhyte
Sounds like he was one of the only positives to come out of today's game then, good to hear Hopeful we can extend the loan in that case, him and Cisse as a pairing should be solid

fka dagest
Davis was very good and was easily our best midfielder. Him and Stead must start every game so that we have any chance at all of staying up.

brad blit
A player like him is just what we havnt got and the very reason we can't play 2 in the middle as our players can't do more than one thing. A centre midfielder should be capable in all departments but Kilkenny can't head/tackle, Elliott can't pass/control a ball and both skuse & cisse don't offer anything past the the half way line. Davies today looked at class act and looked like he could do everything, although he was obv rusty after 2 years out

We've got too many midfielders who are too one dimensional. The best midfielders are able to do a bit of everything.

Obviously will look rough around the edges after so long out, but at the end of the day he is a class act and as you say, has a bit of everything in his game. After showing the hunger and desire he has to fight back from injury, I doubt he will take any minutes on the pitch for granted ever again. Some of our spineless lot could do taking after him.
