Can someone from the coaching staff please teach this guy how to run onto a ball played into space?!

Too many times he lies deep waiting for the ball to feet.

If he made a run for space, he'd be in a much better position when he receives the ball and secondly, even if the ball isn't played to him, he'll take defenders with him who'll open up the space for our man in possession!!

So frustrating !!!!!

Glad people are starting to see this.

He's got to be one of the least intelligent football players around... So talented but he'll achieve nothing unless he starts to understand the blinking game!

His final ball isn't great, it's true what people say, he keeps his head down and just puts the ball across, he doesn't seem to pick out players. Also when he shoots, he just blasts it, he could of had an extra two or three goals to his name this season if he had a little more finese when shooting and placed it.

Yep add to that the ability to control the ball almost 50% of the time and you'll recognize you don't get much for 8million quid nowadays, or whatever people were suggesting he was worth not so long back.

Something that's frustrated me for a while too.

Perhaps they could try him coming short for the ball, bringing the defender forward, spin and run on to the ball played into the space behind (assuming an accurate pass from defence or midfield is accurate enough). We need him in the final third as much as possible.

Although Adomah is the most exciting player we have at the present time he does have a major flaw in my eyes. Today was a good example. Too many times he picked the ball up deep in his own half and then in true Albert style he tried to take on the whole team. The issue is that he fails to pick out the killer early ball which at times would be the intelligent option. The delay also means the opposition have more time to get numbers back and nullify any goal threat when the ball finally reaches the box.

Great potential but without the guidance he could turn out to be a genuine disappointment. Let's hope not.

For Albert's sake he needs to play for a better team and coaching staff if he wants to progress as a footballer. If we go down he'll leave but if by some miracle we stay up then maybe he can develope his game here if Del brings in the players, and possibly coaches,we need to progress.

Far to many 'ifs' and 'maybes' in that sentence.

Not as good as he thinks or a lot of supporters thinks he is .

In fact I think hes a lot of our problems ... He doesn't get double marked he's just too deep and in the mix with the midfield etc and offers nothing for the midfield to to be creative moving forward as he's at the back sat next to Foster at right back ... Flatters to decieve all too often...

Did exactly nothing in the first half .. Made 3 mazy runs in the 2nf half and was blowing out of his ass ????

Thought he was poor today. Continually playing to deep and never playing as part of the alleged front three.

What I don't understand is that he didn't play like that a while ago - his natural instinct is all out attack. Has he lost confidence? Lost ability (is that possible)? Had his attacking instinct deafen out of him by defensive instruction? Or is he just playing to orders?

Albert is still learning the game! What everyone has to be realistic about is we cannot rely on him everytime.

He is our only genuine threat when going forward so everyone constantly expects too much from him! He does need to improve aspects of his game of course and in time he will, as well as learning some of the basics!

Good defenders know he is our main threat and can work him out. Teams also do their homework on him and double up on him, restrict his space etc.

The problem with how Albert is playing or is being told to play the game, is that he is way to deep rather than having to beat one or two men his is having to beat 3 or 4. Had he been anticipating more yesterday we would not have conceeded the 2nd goal. Stead wins a header it fall to where Albert should have been, he would have had to beat one defender and then in on goal, instead Blackpool counter attack and well you know the rest. He is still raw and an upredictable talent which is his strengh, but he badly needs to be coached in reading the game better, and anticipating or gambling on the outcome of certian situations in play.

He is quite inaffective at the moment, he did head back to Stead for the goal and but one very useful cross in. Unfortunately for large parts of the game he like many of the team is far to deep and whilst he should in my view be moving forward off the ball creating space and an outlet, he is static and player on the ball has no target and inevitably the ball is lost.
