Coach
... that's Brisol City. According to this graph anyway: http://experimental361.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/championship-creation-vs-conversion-250212.png It shows that we've created less chances per game than only 7 other Championship teams. BUT .. we are way out on our own as the most wasteful team, needing 14 shots for every goal we score. Most teams need between 7 and 11. That needing 14 shots per goal looks a horrific figure when compared with our defending; we concede a goal for less than every 8 shots! : http://experimental361.files.wordpress.com/2012/02/championship-allowance-vs-resilience-250212.png .. only 6 teams allow more chances too. In a nutshell, it seems our defending as a team is much worse than our attacking .. but then we can't actually put the ball in the net.
Dave Youell
I don't think most of us needed stats to understand that we are not scoring at the moment!
Coach
But maybe some would be surprised how many chances we are creating compared to other teams - we are in the top 1/3 of Champ teams for creating chances.
Coach
In fact, 14 shots per goal is by far the worst ratio in the whole football league!!! http://experimental361.files.wordpress.com/2012/03/football-league-creation-vs-conversion-270212.png
