reddarren
Does anyone remember John Bain, from the late seventies years? I know he had a long career in North American football but he seems to have disappeared from the City archives although I know he didn't play many games. Any links/photos of his Bristol days? Robin Ashton
Six games for City. There are some US pics of him here: http://nasljerseys.com/Players/B/Bain.John.htm and an article: http://www.fcmediallc.com/index.php/field-notes/club-connections/first-kick-2012-6-john-bain/. Didn't know about Brian McNeill who played 3 times for City: http://nasljerseys.com/Players/M/McNeill.Brian.htm.

chinapig
I remember John Bain- steady player, good lad! Never got enough chances. Alan Dicks dumped the successful youth policy which meant we also lost Colin Lee and, ironically Mark MvGhee.
