Frank Reynolds
Not sure how, we offered him a new contract, player didnt accept, moved on, It happens, get over it We also offered James and Gerken contracts. If there was ever a clear signal that he wouldn't get a look-in that was it. Would you want to be behind Dean Gerken in the pecking order?

bcfcbs20
Not only is he a good keeper but he's sound aswell when he was down here he stayed in my mates flat. He sorted out my brother with a load of gk gear under armour City gk top etc. It was a mistake not making him no1 when we had the chance but as soon as we signed James he was looking for a new club. Dastardly and Muttley
How does this affect City? Am I right in thinking that Pompey still owe use money for Henderson? Did we manage to get a sell on clause included in the tribunal fee?

GrahamC
We also offered James and Gerken contracts. If there was ever a clear signal that he wouldn't get a look-in that was it. Would you want to be behind Dean Gerken in the pecking order? No, we didn't. James had a clause saying we had to offer him a deal if he played over 30 games and he actually played 45. I understood it that Henderson indicated at Xmas he wouldn't sign any deal offered by City so we knew he was going and in that instance offered Gerken a new deal as James' understudy. Of course we could have released Gerken, leaving us with just a 41 year old first choice and looked for a new understudy, bet that would have been universally popular on here.......
