Wardie
All 6 of the soldiers were from the Yorkshire regiment I believe and 3 of them were from Huddersfield.

Brizzle Jordan
I think they'd be better off doing a 2 minutes applause at the last game of the season for all soldiers who were sadly killed.
Judge Roughneck
**** I. if we're going have a minutes silence every time someone in a war dies, we might as well just have every week, let it lose all meaning and be done with it.

David Brent
Without sounding disrepectful the minutes silence / applause has been devalued in recent years. There will be a time and a place to acknowledge to it but City v Cardiff isn't it. Let Huddersfield grieve their loss. As suggested above a 2 minutes applause at the end of the season would be perfect.

That would be more appropriate however if/when we get out local soldiers should be invited foc to do a walk round and then do a minutes silence for the fallen. Melksham Red
Just heard on news the one minute silence for the six British soldiers who were lost midweek will ONLY be held in Huddersfield. Are we not having one.? The minute silence should reserved for when its personal to a club unless its something monumental . I said before it loses meaning and sincerity if you're doing every other week.
