PFree Posted March 17, 2012 Report Share Posted March 17, 2012 We are four points outside the relegation zone and have nine absolutely crucial games left in our season. At AG we seem to be down to a fairly hard core set of fans who have really got behind the team during the last couple of games and this has most certainly helped the team - importantly, we have played our part. We shouldn't imagine that the position we are in doesn't impact Del, Doc and the players - they feel as sick as we do when results are poor and about the situation we are in. This is a time when we need everybody together, okay, we understand we don't have a good side and deserve our current position but we do have decent enough players around which to rebuild over the summer. I do however feel that some fans needs to get a grip, some need to enjoy moaning and we have to rid the club of this as it could be a much better place if our fans stayed together - yes, we aren't playing well and it's frustrating but having supported City for many years as a season ticket holder I can assure you that times have been far worse! We need every one of us to pull together and no matter what the score is, we all need to get behind the side at all times. It's really hard to gain promotion out of League One as we found for a number of seasons hence why we need to do everything we can to stay in the Championship - we can play our part and every one of us needs to? As a thought, try being in Pompey's position right now where relegation is almost a certainty but they face the real prospect of not having a club to support next season??
