sumcharred Posted March 21, 2012 Report Share Posted March 21, 2012 after watching that disaster last night i feel keepers should go back to basics and learn how to catch a ball i.e david james .as everyone who went last night saw he should have caught the ball but no elected to punch and cost us the game. i remember watching peter shilton 9 times out of 10 he go through everyone including his own players to catch a ball.this should give you all something to debate. Even this morning after watching last nights "car crash" I still cannot understand why James elected to punch and even when he did he went with only one fist? Clearly he could have caught the ball, the only thing that I can think is that he saw Iwelumo looming and just bottled it.
