NOTR
In place as of today, gone from 1000 pages to 50 pages, good news for us, just waiting on the judge to make his mind up one way or the other so we know where we stand as far as a new council meeting is concerned. Jesus
That is good news. Hopefully thats why this judge is taking so long. I've got a good feeling about this now.
The Gasbuster
I don't think this changes anything unfortunately. They have been talking about this all day, and the "Village Green Issue" has not been mentioned once.
Warwickshire Red
Don't think this will have any effect on our position as we already have PP and this announcement today unlikely to touch on TVG matters (certainly not retrospectively). Now if our matter drags on, goes to full JR, we lose, TVG laws are changed in our favour, then maybe there's a small chance the Council can tell the TVGers where to go and we get the whole land (but think that's unlikely unfortunately). Still think we'll get the stadium even if it is delayed (which I think is the best the TVGers can hope for).
BCAGFC
Very good news for developers, very bad news for NIMBYs...................their time has come. Don;t think it will affect our case, as if it goes to JR and we lose, then we will still be continuing the same case, not a new one. We will win in the end. cityboy
City already have planning permission so nothing to gain here.
bs3
In theory Town green status is a good positive law , which should protect small green areas ln Cities which people use. Areas of green like behind the hut in Highridge where Highridge Utd play. Its meant to protect green spaces for recreation in high density areas. However in the case of Ashton Vale this law is just being abused and law is being brought into disrupte and the long term effect will be the repealing of this law so genuine cases will now be built on, this will be the leagacy of Peter crispin and the Greens they should be ashamed of themselves because they are doing untold damge to future areas which should be protected for all of us.
