BITW
After 40 games we are one point behind Coventry and now in the bottom three. 4 pts ahead of Pompey and 5 over Donny. Can we pull it off?

Dastardly and Muttley
Going to buck the trend and say yes. We have to keep believing. There's only one point in it and it's still in our own hands. Match or better Coventry's results and beat them in our home game and we're safe. nickolas
I think Cov have Peterborough, Donny and Millwall at home so no, we are royally f&!ked. We have no fight, no pattern of play, no leadership. We as fans may care but the chaps who own those flashy 12 plate cars behind the Ateyo couldnt give a sh1t. Rule The Waves
I will keep believing until we cannot mathematically be safe. If we did not have Coventry at one to come I would be less enthused, but pretty clear it is now a shoot out between us and them and that one game could make a huge difference come the end of the season. Roger Red Hat
At least we'll know for sure we're relegated after the Easter weekend games, so we won't have to speculate any more. I don't know anyone that thinks we'll win another game, and Cov and Florist are in good form. We look absolutely useless at the moment.

EstoniaTallinnRed
I think this very, very poor lot of so called professional players were doomed from the first match of the season. The only thing that has given them a chance was changing the manager and bringing in a couple of fairly decent loan players. It worked for a bit, but since that run of good results the comfy players who will be leaving at the end of the season have reverted back to type and are not bothered if City stay up or get relegated. It the City's board that are to blame by giving this bunch of useless rubbish long contracts. IMO these players have no respect for the club, the supporters and most of all none for themselves. Red Exile
Faith implies some sort of previous experience that suggests that something will happen...it springs from belief. I previously "believed" with gusto up and down the land. Under GJ City were a side that made things happen...often against the odds. I see no reason to have faith in the current set up - I'm afraid. They usually fail to deliver. The club is incompetently run from top to bottom. The squad assembled by Millen and the Board wasn't good enough to compete. Plenty on here spotted it before a ball was kicked. I hope we'll stay up - but it'll require a major turn around.

I'm not sure who you refer to of today's team, McAllister is out of contract at the end of the season as is Carey, of the team today with the exception of the loanees they all have contracts except the two mentioned. Carey cares deeply about this football club and I certainly dont see MacAllister as the sort to turn up and not put in a shift despite not being quite up to it anymore according to many... However yes the club has fostered a discontentment from the begining of the season with Millen telling Hunt LJ Clarkson Stewart et al they will not be in first team contention...Not a smart move managerially and this is now been exacerbated by DM... As a manager of anyone anywhere you should never tell someone they are not and will never be good enough unless your firing them at the time. Discontentment was fostered by a simple misunderstanding of human behaviour leading two a two tier dressing room! Stupidity!!!
Red-Robbo
To stay up we need to take 6 points over Easter and I think it's extremely unlikely we'll get anything at the City Ground. Coventry play Peterborough at home on the same day - that has home win written all over it.
Pewsham
I thought we were excellent relegation candidates from the debacle at home to Ipswich. I've seen little to make me think we'll survive
reddevon
4 points over Easter and I think we will just about stay up on the final day, with Holloway doing us a favour by winning at Milwall !

kevinmabbuttshair
We DESERVE to go down. Yep, I actually believe our league position is flattering. Can't score goals and can't keep clean sheets. We wouldn't compete with the top five from the division below. I'm now lookin forward to Gary Johnson coming back to AG and a trip to Chesterfield
East end Forever
No we are down now and it hurts a lot I know it's not definite yet but we are I had bad feeling start of the season when we brought out the yellow away kit reminded me of our last relegation from second tier!!
