Gakoe
Just to put everyone in the picture. Before kick off today, 41 balloons will be released from the pitch in honour of Dave Maber aka 'Ernie Clinker'. A life long City fanatic who passed away last month aged 41. The balloons will be carried by his son, young brother and a few friends so a little applause from anybody in the ground early would be much appreciated. Thanks and, C O Y R!!!!!! Gakoe
A massive THANKS to all you incredible City fans. The applause for Dave yesterday moved many of us to tears. His fiance and his mum were also at the ground for what was a very emotional tribute. To give you an idea of the kind of man he was, he chose 'Going Underground' by The Jam to be played at his funeral! Havin a laugh 'till the very end. Top geezer! We are stayin' up, say we are stayin' up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
