I BELIEVE
Greg Halford? Why is he so good? He's 27 and had 8 clubs. Don't rate him at all personally. Realisticlly he is the type of player we are likely to be signing. Its wonderful wishing to sign players like Zaha but it's not gonna happen. Halford is a steady eddy (football manager 7.00) that can play a variety of positions, offers decent set-piece (including a long throw), is experienced, reliable and affordable. Mad Cyril
James/ Foster/Fonts/Carey/Skuse Pearson/Elliot/Cisse/Adomah Maynard/Stead Best Team - Southampton (would look comfortable at a higher level) Worst team - Watford Best Player - Zaha Signing - Schmeichel (at least we would have one player who could distribute the ball!) Gerkin, Skuse, Carey, Amougou, Foster, Albert, Cisse, Marv, Pearson, Stead, Maynard (as much as I dislike it) 2.Best opposite team at the Gate this season? Birmingham - although we were at our lowest ebb they caused us no end of trouble 3.Worst opposite team at the Gate this season ? Coventry - We looked so much better than them both home and away (nearly 40 shots on goal in two games) 4. Best opposite player at the Gate this season ? Zaha was good but Chris Burke was exception at the gate 5. Which one player from the Championship would you like City to sign next season ? Jordan Tansley
James Skuse Amougou McManus Foster Cisse Adomah Skuse Pearson Stead Maynard/Pitman Best opposition. Birmingham were awesome at the gate. Worst opposition. Doncaster, shocking side. Best opposition player- federici, we should have won the home game against reading about 7-0. Outfield Zaha gave one of the best first half performances I've seen. Great goal that day. Signing- Nathaniel Clyne as my unrealistic choice, Darren Ambrose as my reasonably realistic one (though again very unlikely)
real_bristol
Best Team - Southampton (would look comfortable at a higher level) I wasn't expecting anyone to say Southampton, beat them twice and deserved to IMO. This season has been a weird one.
bearded_red
1- Gerken Carey Amougou Fontaine Foster Adomah Cisse Skuse Pearson Stead Pitman 2- Birmingham. You wouldn't have needed to do anything particularly special to beat us at that time, but they were still impressive. 3- Barnsley. Simply dreadful. 4- Federeci. Still not entirely sure how we didn't win that night! If Zaha had played for 90 minutes how he played for the first 20 I would have gone for him, he certainly has some serious talent! 5- Peter Whittingham.
